S.O.A.P. 30 Day Challenge – Day #1 February 1, 2024 “Casual Conversations Having Eternal Results.”
S. Acts 8:30 (NIV) “Then Philip ran up to the chariot and heard the man reading Isaiah the prophet. ‘Do you understand what you are reading?’ Philip asked.”
O. In the previous verse, the Holy Spirit spoke to Philip and directed him to be near the Ethiopian. Philip took the initiative to talk to the Ethiopian about the scripture that he was reading. This resulted in a presentation of the gospel and the Ethiopian Eunuch praying to receive Jesus and being baptized.
A.I want to always be ready to strike up conversations with people whom God is at work in. You never know anything but that a casual conversation can lead to a life-changing event.
P. Thank you Lord for your word and the example of the Ethiopian. Holy Spirit, fill me and guide me to have such conversations that lead to spiritually life changing events in the lives of others. I pray and ask this in Jesus’ name.
