S. Numbers 11;23 (NIV) “The Lord answered Moses, ‘Is the Lord’s arm too short? Now you will see whether or not what I say will come true for you.’”
O. God was going to give them what they were asking for - meat, and a lot of it! Moses, however, looked at the facts - How could God do this? Moses questioned God because he looked at his (Israel’s) own resources not at what God was able to do.
This is another of those situations in life in which we look at the facts but not the truth. God’s answer is the truth - He is more than able to provide.
A. I often get caught looking a t the facts rather than leaniing into the truth. Yet I know ‘God’s arm is not too short.” As I continue to serve Him, I will continue to place the facts in His very capable hands. There’s a phrase I’ve heard a few times recently, “the problem cannot be my problem and God’s problem at the same time.” Therefore, I will undersntad the facts (the challenges before me) but I will also place them in God’s very capable hands.
P. Thank you Father for your word today. I know your “arm is not too short.” You are more than able to provide for whatever my personal or ministry needs are. Today I place whatever the “facts” are that seem to bog me down, into your hands to do what only you can do. In Jesus’ name.
