S. Acts 26:13-15 (actually read the entire chapter) - NIV
3 About noon, King Agrippa, as I was on the road, I saw a light from heaven, brighter than the sun, blazing around me and my companions. 14 We all fell to the ground, and I heard a voice saying to me in Aramaic,[a] ‘Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me? It is hard for you to kick against the goads.’
15 “Then I asked, ‘Who are you, Lord?’
“ ‘I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting,’ the Lord replied.
O. This passage in Acts 26 always reminds me of what the effective format of a person’s Christian testimony should look like. Paul shared his past (finding common ground with listeners), then shared the pivotal moment (hearing and receiving Jesus), followed his current life (What Jesus is doing in his life now).
A. I will continue to look for ways to share my testimony - past, pivotal event and present, to reach as many people for Jesus.
P. Thank you Father for this word today, for Paul’s example and testimony. Holy Spirit fill me and guide me to seek and share opportunities about my faith in Jesus with others.
