S. Mark 11:22-24
22 “Have faith in God,” Jesus answered. 23 “Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them. 24 Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
O. Jesus teaches that we are not to allow doubt into our hearts. We are to believe - have faith in God and what only He can do. Rather than having doubt, we are to ask God in prayer believing in Him and what He can do, and it will happen.
A. I will continue to pray and believe that God can and will provide a facility for our new church. As I pray, I will continue to make preparations for our launch day. I will continue to persist in faith- asking the Father to remove all obstacles in Jesus name and it will be done.
P. Thank you Father for this word of encouragement. I needed this word this morning. I pray that you will continue to draw people and provide a place for Better Life Church to launch public services. Holy Spirit fill me and lead me to boldly step ahead in faith knowing BLC will be provided for in Jesus name.
**** Post blog comment: I read, journaled and prayed this on Tuesday November 2. On Wednesday November 3 I had been contacted by 3 people showing interest in Better Life Church; another pastor agreed to serve on our Pastor Advisory (Overseer) Board, and I humbly received God’s provision of a facility to meet in on Sunday mornings during “church prime time.” Thank you Father. I will continue to walk in faith and let you remove the mountains.
